Our Butadiene Awareness safety course is designed to teach you and your teams how to safely handle butadiene and safety protocols for overexposure. This course includes information on how to recognize butadiene mishandling and how to take the appropriate precautions to prevent mishandling.
Butadiene is a colorless gas that is primarily used to manufacture synthetic rubber, which is widely used in tire production and plastic manufacturing. It also serves as an intermediate for several industrial chemicals. Industry workers must be careful and apply the proper safety protocols when working with butadiene. Butadiene is an irritant for the upper respiratory system, flammable and explosive when mixed with air.
